Shadow Yoga Shadow yoga is the culmination of many years of research on the roots of of hatha yoga by master teacher Zhander Remete. It is not a new form of yoga focusing on one aspect of the art of hathe yoga like so many of the modern styles. Instead, shadow yoga focuses on awakening the inner core of the body and the self, feeling alive and firm on the inside while remaining soft and responsive on the outside. The inner firmness will bring you in touch with your own creativity, taking your practice to a spiritual level. Shadow yoga puts the original yoga texts into practice and puts a much greater emphasis on breath and inner work. |

| Practiced all over the world, shadow yoga is becoming increasingly popular among practitioners who would like to take their practice beyond alignment and flow. The core emphasis in beginning shadow yoga is the mastery of the preliminary forms and understanding of energetic principles through application of bandhas (regulators of energy) and proper ujjayi breathing. | |
